The primary methods for achieving our objectives are carried out through various activities and program including the following:
The elders with challenges of loneliness or disability are cared for at the centre where they live permanently while some spend only the hours of the day in order to cover lonely period
At the instance of the family members, some elders are care for in their respective homes. The Foundation deploys well trained and experienced care givers who manage them 24/7. In addition, we carry out home visits to some other elders where we engage them in discussions and play games with them in order to break boredom.
This is a platform for the elders to come together periodically where their views on current affairs are shared. We give them health talks, have lunch together and share fellowship with one another.
The elders in the villages are also given the opportunity of benefitting from the activities of the Foundation through regular outreach. We go to them, give them health talks, carry out their health assessment, distribute beverages, milk and drugs such as analgesics and hematite free according to their need.
For any of them that require medical attention, we leverage on our extensive contacts with relevant specialists needed to attend to their respective challenges.
We occasionally take those who are fit enough out to places of interest within the city.
